Based in Philadelphia, Dominic D'Andrea is a versatile designer specializing in UX, UI, and Industrial design. With a strong background in ID, he creates inclusive experiences driven by research and user empathy. His extensive accomplishments include numerous design awards and 22 design and utility patents.

Dominic is a multi-faceted UX/UI/Industrial Designer. He has been employed in various studios creating products ranging from medical products and consumer electronics to outdoor recreational equipment. His responsibilities have included design from concept to final production, usability research, project management, client interaction, and vendor coordination. His work has been awarded multiple design and utility patents. He has also been recognized by international design competitions such as ID Magazine's Design Review, IDEA, Red Dot, and the Spark Awards.

At J&J he created FDA regulated medical products. In the process, he produced discussion guides for medical device labs as well as moderated user groups in formative studies. His experience spans exploratory conceptual work to refined feature development. All with the mission to improve product usability.

To further develop his design expertise, Dominic completed the Google UX Design Certificate, a six-month intensive program covering UX research, inclusive design, wireframing, and both low- and high-fidelity prototyping. During the program, he gained proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Maze, Miro, and Zeplin, culminating in the successful execution of three hands-on projects. He continues to apply these skills in his current freelance and contract work.
